ABOUT US…..

There are 54 tall clubs that are part of Tall Clubs International throughout the United States and Canada as well as many International Tall Clubs. The one thing we all have in common is that we are all TALL. We grew up in a world designed for the “average person.” We have to deal with stooping over public drinking fountains, ducking under doorways, and putting on clothes that are not long enough. TCI gives us the opportunity to experience the world as the “average” person does. We can look at our friends eye-to-eye. We share tips on finding places that sell clothes for the tall person. We can share experiences in our life that other people can relate to what we are talking about.

You ask, “Is the Tall Club of the Palm Beaches like all the others?” We like to think that we are a little bit different. We strive to create a ’family ethical atmosphere’ in our club. We go out of our way to help our other club members. Harmony among members is extremely important to us. We will not settle for anything less.

“What makes this club so unique?” I will note several things that I have found to be unique in Palm Beach County. The most obvious is that we are in Florida and are within minutes of the ocean! We can swim and be a part of the ocean 12 months out of the year. S.E. Florida has nature, culture, wildlife, wealth, and a large retired population. The area is ‘designed’ for activities for adults.

The Tall Club of the Palm Beaches tries to fill our calendar at least three times a month with activities. We can live the ‘retired life’ while we are young enough to enjoy it. Something else unique about Palm Beach County is that the County is huge. It has a N/S height of approximately 30 miles and an E/W width of 50 miles. Palm Beach makes Beverly Hills look like a housing project. You will see Ferrari’s, yachts, as well as swamps, alligators, flamingos and iguanas in the wild. You can deep sea dive in the morning, go bass fishing in the afternoon, and see an opera in the evening. A majority of the residents have college degrees, and the county has a vast variety of ethnic cultures and religions.

There are many singles in the club but we are not just a singles group. Married people are welcome as members, and many singles remain after meeting someone in the club. There is no pressure to “meet and greet”. We would like for you to just be yourself and have fun!

There is a members only section of this web site, with interactive features like a message board, download section of our Club‘s Bylaws, and Members Address Book. After you become a member, you assign yourself a password and user ID. You will then be able to access the members-only site from any computer in the world, 24 hours a day.
